Our Personnel

We believe it is critically important for you and the success of your project to contract with an organization that has a documented record of competent and qualified individuals.   We, at Phoenix Communications, know that’s us. And that’s not simply our opinion. It’s by virtue of standards established by OSHA and other certification organizations.

  • Competent Person (1926.32 f): One who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards on the surrounding or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous to employees AND who has the authorization to take prompt corrective action to eliminate them
  • Qualified Person (1926.32 m): One who by possession of a degree certificate or professional standing OR by extensive knowledge, training and experience has successfully demonstrated an ability to solve or resolve problems relating to the subject matter, work or project

Through ongoing experience, training, education and communication, Phoenix employees continually demonstrate knowledge of their industry and have the ability to identify potential hazards, enabling them to take the necessary steps to mitigate costly mishaps.   They have completed classroom and hands-on training. They continually demonstrate knowledge of their industry and have the ability to identify potential hazards, enabling them to take the necessary steps to mitigate costly mishaps.  As a company, we have an obligation to meet OSHA's General Duty Clause, and we take each and every step to comply with that requirement.
