Leadership
Mark Langevin, President
Mark Langevin is the cornerstone of Phoenix Communications, infusing the company with nearly two and half decades of solid experience. Launching his career in 1986, back when “fiber-optic” was little more than a buzzword for the future of telecommunications, Mark began learning the business from the ground up as a splicing apprentice. After 14 years of hard work and advancement, Mark recognized the industry’s need for a small, nimble company that could provide a full-service fiber-optic cable solution on a cost-effective, rapid turnaround basis. This vision gave birth to Phoenix Communications. Today Phoenix Communications has grown to be one of the largest fiber-optic cable contractors in New England, with a reputation that has cultivated strong working relationships with many telecommunications giants.
Mark Bouvier, Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Mark Bouvier keeps Phoenix Communications in overdrive, managing the company’s daily operations with an infectious enthusiasm. Recruited in March of 2006 to revamp and automate the company’s back office functions, Mark drew on his two decades of eclectic experience — as a business owner, software development manager, web developer and senior network engineer — to restructure internal communications, schedule and coordinate our employees and interface with our customers at every job milestone. Mark continually finds ways to make Phoenix a more productive organization by facilitating new training for existing employees, recruiting and interviewing new talent as needed, controlling inventory, scheduling staff and communicating with our customers. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Technology.
